Dear Family and Friends,
Well, it was another great week in Gilbert Arizona, and I can't believe it's almost May! Time is flying by. We've got transfers coming up again next week too, I'll find out next Sunday what's happening and let you know then. But I'm hoping to stay here awhile, I've really grown to love the people and don't want to leave just yet. But it's all in the Lord's hands.
We got to go to the Easter Pagent again last week which was super fun. We sat with the youth from one of our wards and I really enjoyed watching it again. I noticed things I didn't before. We also had an investigator come with her husband, and both seemed to really enjoy it.
We also spent a lot of time visiting all the families in our wards that have youth. We're having an expanded zone conference next week and our mission president asked us to personally invite all the youth. It's been quite a process, but I've met a lot of people and can put names to faces now.
We visited on family and their son was wearing a Doctor Who shirt, which was super awesome. So I told him I liked his shirt and it made his day. Then he went and got everything Doctor Who that he owns to show us. Haha. He's got some cool stuff. A TARDIS alarm clock (I'll probably invest in one of those eventually. Haha) and Doctor Who monopoly. It was a pretty cool collection. And he totally loves us now and thinks we're cool missionaries. haha.
Saturday was Krystal's baptism, and that was incredible. She was so full of joy and the light of Christ. She had so much support from family and friends. And I got to give the talk on baptism, which was really neat. She was so grateful to us for teaching her, but I'm more grateful to her. I came out here to help other people come closer to Christ, and it is so rewarding to see that in action. She and her husband are going to work on going to get sealed in the temple in one year, and that's so incredible. The gospel is amazing! And I love having the chance to share it with others.
Also, my companion Sister Bateman went to the University of Utah and we spent some time last week talking all about it. She told me where I should live and all kinds of useful information. It was great. And made me feel a lot better about going there. Now I know at least a little bit. Haha.
Well, sorry this is a pretty lame email, but we didn't have too much happen last week. It was a good week though. I hope you all have a great week! I love and miss you all!
Love Always,
Baylee
