October 13th Update

Dear Family and Friends,

Well, it's been another week already and here I am writing you again. It's crazy how fast the time goes by out here.

Last Monday we finally got hot water in our house. That has been really nice. Cold showers are not fun unless it's super hot outside, which it's not right now. We also had a multi-zone activity playing dodgeball and kickball, but I didn't actually participate. I was writing letters instead. That night we went to visit a lady who just moved into our area. Her husband is a member and she has talked to the missionaries before. She's interested in learning more. We really enjoyed getting to know her and are excited to visit her again.

We also got a new investigator this week. We street contacted him and he was willing to learn more, so we met with him again a few days later. He knows the bible really well and is focused on that, but he's also starting to read The Book of Mormon. We're excited to continue to meet with him and teach him.

On Sunday we taught relief society in one of our wards. The lesson was on missionary work and seemed to go pretty well. Everyone said they enjoyed it anyways. We also had a meeting with the stake president and all the missionaries in the stake to talk about how we can help the members do more missionary work. He is definitely willing to work hard to help the work increase in this area, and we're excited to see how that goes.

Other than that, we've had a pretty normal week. We visited a lot of people and are working hard trying to find more people to teach. I'm still loving it out here, especially since it's finally cooling down. I hope you're all doing well back home and keeping busy. I love and miss you all!

Love always,

Baylee
