2nd Transfer!

Dear family and friends,

Well once again it has been a crazy week. We had transfers and what felt like a million other meetings, but I survived it.

Tuesday was transfer meeting. I was so relieved to be staying in the same area. But we got 13 new sisters! So that's crazy. Sisters now make up 38% of our mission! Since it was our first transfer meeting with the new mission and mission president everyone had to be there. It was really fun to see everyone again. Some of the sisters I came out with are training already!

Sister Kratzer and I got 2 roommates. Sister Anderson and Sister Bennett. They're both really great and we enjoy having someone else living with us.

Sister Kratzer has been having some problems with her joints so we had to go to the doctor on Thursday. They're not sure what's wrong yet but we have to go get some x-rays done for her this week. We have to go all the way to Mesa though, and that's out of the mission so we had to get special permission from President Nattress. We may end up with a car if they decide that riding her bike is too much strain.

Friday was another crazy day. We were literally in meetings all day. We had planning meething in the morning. And then we had to go to Gilbert for new missionary training with President and the APs. All the missionaries have to go after their 1st and 2nd transfers. It's really cool because we get to see everyone again and learn how to be better missionaries. Plus our APs are super legit and awesome teachers.

Other than that we've just spent lots of time visiting people and trying to find people to teach. We don't have anyone just yet, but because we're doing our best to be obedient I know we'll find someone soon.

I love being out here even though it's super hot and I'm sweaty and gross all the time. I know that sounds miserable, but it's hard to be miserable when you get to share your testimony everyday. We did find out this week that we might have to stop using our backpacks soon. Apparently the brethren feel that they're not professional enough and they're really trying to move away from them. We might get an exception for our mission since it's so hot here and we need lots of water. I was super upset about it at first because I really don't want to get dehydrated, but my district leader made a good point. If we don't have water with us then we'll have to ask for it from everyone we talk to. And that's a good opportunity to get into people's homes and teach. I'm learning to look at the positive side of things a lot more than I used to.

Anyways, I'm out of time so I really have to get going. I'll send some pictures home next week. I hope everyone is doing great and enjoying the rest of you summers. I love and miss you all and hope to hear from you soon!

Love always,

Baylee
