Happy Thanksgiving!

Dear Family and Friends,

This week has been pretty eventful. The beginning was pretty great, but the end not so much, mainly because I've been dealing with a horrible cold for the past few days.

On Tuesday night we had an extended zone conference in the evening. It was for 5 of the zones in our mission and the members of the stake in those zone boundaries as well. It was really great. We talked about the temple open house and using it as a great missionary tool. We also did some role playing, which is always fun.

Wednesday we visited a less active sister and talked to her about the temple open house. She's really excited about it, and wants to come back to church, so we're starting to work with her to help her come back. That evening we met with B, who is now offically an investigator. She is so awesome. She's already read the Book of Mormon twice and knows the church is true. She's only waited this long to get baptized because her parents didn't approve and she had to wait until she turned 18. So we're starting to teach her and we're hoping she'll get baptized on December 14, which is her 18th birthday. I'll keep you updated on how that goes. And then that night we helped one of our former investigators pack and move. That was a really sad situation. She didn't know where she was going, but she was being forced to leave. Luckily, she has a lot of faith and trust in God to help her. We did what we could to help her out, but we could only do so much.

The next morning I woke up and felt awful. My cold which had started the day before was a lot worse. But we went and helped our former investigator do some more packing and then we had to go to weekly planning. That was not terribly fun, but we got it done. And then I came home and went to sleep for awhile. One of my roommates has a virus, so I stayed home with her while our companions went out to our appointments.

Friday was a sick day for both of us, which kind of sucked. We had a member of the 70 come out for a mission tour and Friday morning he came to talk to us, but we both felt horrible and didn't make it. We slept a lot instead and tried to feel better, which seemed to work because I felt quite a bit better on Saturday and we went out for awhile.

But then on Sunday, after going to church for one of our wards I felt horrible, so we came home and I took some medicine and slept again.

Luckily I am feeling better again today. And since it's P-day I plan to go back home and sleep for awhile. Hopefully that'll get me feeling better.

I'm really excited for this week since Thanksgiving is on Thursday. We've been invited to several different places throughout the day, and we're going to try and go to all of them. We're really excited about it. Haha.

And since Thanksgiving is this week I wanted to tell you all that I am grateful for all the love and support I feel from you each and every day. I know you are praying for me and supporting me in your own individual ways, and I want you to know that it does make a difference to me. I am also grateful for a loving Heavenly Father and His son Jesus Christ, who died for us so that we could live with Him once more. I am grateful for the 14 year old boy, Joseph Smith who had enough faith to ask which church was true. I am grateful that he was able to restore the Church of Jesus Christ to the earth once more. And I am grateful for a living prophet today, Thomas S. Monson, who leads the church today.

I hope you all have a wonderful week and enjoy Thanksgiving. I love and miss you all!

Love always,
Baylee

The pictures are of me, Sister C, and Sister K (our old roommate) at the extended zone conference. And the other one is of the super green grass, even though it's November. haha.
