A Short Update This Week

Dear family and friends,

Well, I don't have much time today so this email will be pretty short. It's been a pretty hectic week, as usual.

On Tuesday I got to feed the cow that now lives about 30 feet from our house. His name is Porter and he's crazy when he eats so that was quite the experience. I got pictures, but I'll have to send them next week. We also visited with a less active family that night for quite awhile. It was an awesome visit though, and we're quite excited to go back.

We got to do a lot of service this week, which was really cool. We helped this older lady start unpacking. She just moved here from Wisconsin and doesn't know anybody, so one of the sisters in our ward asked us to help her out. She was super sweet and grateful for our help and asked us a bunch of questions about our missions. We're going back again this week to help her some more and hopefully we'll be able to talk to her a little bit more about the gospel. I honestly think she would love it.

On Friday we had our weekly planning meeting and we found out some of our mission rules have changed. We're now allowed to watch any of the proselyting DVDs on our DVD players, instead of just training videos. So we watched The Testaments on Saturday. It was awesome. We're also allowed to do activities on P-day with missionaries not in our zone. Not that I know most of them, but still, it's cool. President Nattress is a lot more focused on the spirit of the law instead of having a bunch of rules that we have to remember. So as long as no one does anything stupid, we'll have more freedom.

Anyways, I know this was super short, but next week I'll write a bunch to make up for it. I hope you're all doing well. I love and miss you all!
Love,
Baylee
