Dear Family and Friends,
Well, as usual my time is kind of short, so this email won't be too long either. It's been a pretty good week. Nothing too crazy happened. Just normal missionary stuff.
We got to go to the Gilbert Temple on Tuesday, which is always amazing. I love it there so much and am grateful we have the chance to go so often. I'll send some pictures from that.
We did have a sisters meeting on Tuesday that was pretty fun. There are 60 of us now, which is pretty crazy. It was fun to see everyone and learn from President and Sister Nattress. They talked about the first Sister missionaries and how it's grown so there are thousands of us now. It was really neat.
We had exchanges on Thursday, I got to spend the day with Sister Stanley. That was pretty fun. I didn't know her very well before, but we had a good time and I learned a lot from her.
And the rest of the week we spent working on finding more people to teach. It's a continual process. We're teaching some less active families right now though, which is really neat. And even though there's not a ton of work going on in this area at the moment, I know that it's all in the Lord's hand. This is His work, not mine. So I'm just trying to work hard and trust that things will work out in His time.
And then last night we got transfer calls, that was fun. We were both asleep and so the call woke us up. I'm staying here again, and Sister Sanders is going home (we already knew that though). I'll miss her a lot. She's a really great friend and I've gotten really close to her. But I know change is good and it's her time to go. It'll be good for when I get home though, I'll call her and have her help me become normal again. haha.
Well, that's about all that I have to say about this week. It was a good week. I want to share one last thing though. President Nattress said this at our meeting on Tuesday,
"Keep your eyes fixed on the Savior and you'll never go wrong."
I've been thinking a lot about it throughout the week. It's definitely true. The Savior will never lead us astray, and when we put Him first in our lives, everything else will work out. I know that He truly does live and love each one of us. I know that He will never fail us. I am grateful for His atoning sacrifice for each one of us.
I love and miss you all, have a great week!
Love Always,
Baylee
So one more picture I wanted to send, it's kind of hilarious and requires an explanation. Sister Sanders sent her bike home so we were borrowing a member's bike this week. I was riding it the other day, and the seat is plastic and absorbs absolutely no sweat, so I ended up getting a nice sweat mark on my butt from the seat-I thought it was funny, and thought you might too. haha. Love you!
